BrainCheck
Braincheck is a validated screening tool to look for cognitive dysfunction across the following domains; Memory, Attention, Executive Function, Mental Flexibility and Processing Speed.
How is the test carried out?
The test is performed online and takes around 15 minutes. The clinic will provide you with a specific link to access the test. We recommend ensuring that you find a quiet time to do the test when you will not be disturbed or distracted.
At The Long COVID Clinic, we are committed to providing comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of your health, including sleep. Our Overnight Sleep Study is designed to uncover and address sleep-related issues, aiding in your overall recovery and well-being.
How are the results interpreted?
Your scores are compared with thousands of others of the same sex and age. You will be given a score of; above average, average, low or very low for each domain and also an overall score. Your doctor will go through the results with you.
Please note Braincheck is screening test only to indicate cognitive dysfunction. A formal diagnosis of cognitive dysfunction requires more detailed neurocognitive testing via a dedicated service.
