Our two sons have been severely disabled by Long Covid since contracting this horrific disease during the first part of the pandemic in March 2020. Over the last five years we have watched them quietly suffer and lose every aspect of their lives despite having taken them to multiple healthcare professionals who have been unable to help with physical treatments that are not yet available through the NHS. Dr Kane, Dr Khushnood, Physiotherapist Robin McNelis and Specilaist Nurse Julie Taylor have a wealth of knowledge and experience with Long Covid and, with their help, we are already seeing a small improvement after only recently starting treatment. Whilst still early days, Dr Kane and the team have given us hope that they will both eventually make a significant recovery. The Long Covid Clinic team are fighting for and helping these patients who have been forgotten and left in the shadows – we cannot thank them enough.
