Health is complex, and there are rarely quick fixes. My role is to help make sense of your symptoms from a holistic perspective, explore the underlying systems at play, and guide you through informed, step-by-step strategies that support your body’s capacity to adapt and recover.
I’m a highly experienced and competent nutritionist and naturopath with 15 years’ experience and a strong foundation in the biomedical sciences and quantum biology. I specialise in complex, multi-system conditions such as Long Covid, MCAS, EDS, POTS, chronic fatigue, and immune dysregulation. My client work spans from supporting people who just want to optimise their health, right through to people who are chronically bed bound. My work is best described as bridging the gap between conventional medicine and natural medicine. I work closely with clients navigating the long and often frustrating road to recovery from persistent symptoms.
Over the past few years, I’ve developed a particular focus on circadian rhythms and microbiome drivers of post-viral syndromes having coined the term “The Long Covid Microbiome Phenotype” following extensive testing and research collaboration with scientists across the world.
I am extremely competent as analysing test results both functional and medical and although my scope of practice is not in diagnostics, I can provide relevant dietary and lifestyle support based on the results of a number of different tests. My approach is both analytical and evidence based, however I place an important focus on supporting you in gaining back your circadian rhythms and connecting your biology back to the way nature intended it to function. I work with many people who feel they have reached the end of the road when it comes to recovery and it is often the most simplistic of changes that can have the most beneficial impact on health.
Clinical Expertise
Why Patients Work With Me
I found my way into the world of natural health through personal experience. From childhood, I struggled with unexplained symptoms that eventually escalated in adulthood to facial paralysis, vision loss, and a diagnosis of an incurable condition. I was told that lifelong medication was my only option. But no one asked about my lifestyle, stress, sleep, diet, or environment.
This led me to seek answers elsewhere. A naturopath uncovered chronic Lyme disease and taught me how to support my body through nutrition, lifestyle modification, detoxification, and gut health. Over time, I recovered, and learned just how powerful the body can be when truly supported.
In 2019, my son became critically ill with sepsis while we were on a family holiday, he left hospital in a terrible condition, and suffered with long term Post-Sepsis Syndrome, a condition poorly understood by mainstream medicine. Once again, I took the lead, researching nutritional, naturopathic, and microbiome-based interventions to support his recovery. Today, he’s thriving and a true testament to the healing powers of natural interventions.
These experiences and those of the people that I work with have shaped my belief that recovery isn’t about quick fixes, it’s about understanding the whole person. This is where my expertise lies: getting to know you and your story and identifying the most impactful interventions.
It is an honour to be working alongside the incredible team at The Long Covid Clinic and part of a multi-disciplinary team to help improve health outcomes.
