Brief Bio

I qualified in medicine in 2005 from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in London and went on to complete my GP training in North Central London. For over a decade, I worked as a GP in central London, a role I loved, especially mentoring medical students and supporting patients with long-term and complex health needs.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m passionate about women’s health and have trained in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and CBT for menopause symptoms. I am also pursuing accreditation with the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, as I believe sustainable, patient-centred lifestyle changes are key to recovery and long-term health.

I work with patients affected by Long COVID, ME/CFS, and other complex post-viral conditions. I have a clinical interest in POTS, MCAS, hormonal health, and menopause care, which often overlap with Long COVID symptoms, especially in women. I use an integrative, evidence-informed approach that combines the best of conventional medicine with lifestyle and functional strategies where appropriate.

My Story

In 2020, my world turned upside down when I caught COVID-19. What followed was a long, painful journey with Long COVID that left me housebound and unable to work for many months. It challenged every part of my identity as a doctor, a parent, and a person. Slowly, with a combination of medical support, lifestyle changes, alternative approaches, and sheer perseverance, I began to recover.

That experience changed everything. I gained a profound insight into what it means to live with a misunderstood and often invisible illness. It also made me determined to help others navigate the same path.

I bring a lived and learned understanding of complex, chronic illness that informs every consultation. My goal is always to meet people where they are, and help them find a way forward with compassion, curiosity, and hope.

Research and Advocacy

I’ve written articles, supported advocacy work for improved care for Long COVID and ME patients, and joined with other healthcare professionals in urging the NHS to rethink how it treats post-viral illnesses. I’m a signatory on open letters and petitions calling for better education, support, and clinical services.
